ORAL COMMUNICATION ARTIFACTS

Picture
During the Spring Semester in 1995 I won the North Idaho College Speech Contest out of 400 speech students who competed in a 2-day tournament! And with that I discovered that I like speaking. I used to hold speaking positions or assignments at summer camps, churches, schools, businesses and random events across the country, but I never thought I was good at it until winning that contest. Of course, my public speaking was never quite to the TED quality (TED was just a person's name back then), but one of my professional goals is to be able to present ideas in a polished TED public speaking manner. Click on the artifacts below to view my oral communication skills.
