WRITING ARTIFACT #2: REFLECTION
This was an assignment for GS 300 during the Spring Semester of 2013 at Boise State University. The goal of this paper was to reflect on what brought me to Boise State to pursue the Multidisciplinary Studies degree and on my goals in so doing. This artifact demonstrates my ability to construct a paper in APA format and includes an overview of my IDP. This was the first time I learned how to cite interviews. This shows how I can deeply think on a topic, consider one's life and manage to discuss not only the required three topics of where I've been, why I am here and where I am going, but also what I learned from the professional interviews I conducted during the course. This artifact shows my ability to write in a casual narrative free-flow form considering my over arching life's goal and my audience who was not only myself, but also the Multidisciplinary Studies advisory committee. This team of people would read my paper and ultimately approve of my degree plan. This was the most essential paper I have done so far because it forced me to reflect upon why we had changed our whole life so that I could finish school. The process of writing this took several months. After an initial dump of thought onto blank paper I had to focus my thoughts and narrow down what I was saying for the sake of time and flow. I loved writing this paper.
