CRITICAL INQUIRY #1: RESEARCH PAPER

This 26-page research came out of an assignment for our Group Project in UF 300 at Boise State University. My goal was to study Big Ag (primarily Monsanto) and the effects of human intake of genetically modified foods. I defined the problem with Big Agriculture and GMO's and engaged in a process of investigation where I gathered and evaluated materials and evidence. I sited 6 peer-reviewed articles and a plethora of other CRAPP tested studies and private investigations. Though the assignment was not intended to be a thorough investigation of the effects of GMO's on humans, I took the liberty to investigate and write until I was satisfied that I had enough research to help focus our group's project upon the facts. I applied Internet and library database researching skills as well as APA formating and APA citations regulations. During this assignment I felt that I had finally mastered the proper way of citing my sources in order to avoid accidental plagiarism. I also had to use critical thinking skills when I began my research trying to discover the angle that my heart wanted to take.
